I recently attended my very first LSQC Reunion in L.A. "Let us Blend in LA"
we had a blast ! Schoolmates, Classmates and teachers that I never seen for 35 years
is just unbelievable experience. It's PRICELESS ! Now that I am back in the East
Coast Bayonne,NJ to be exact, I am putting up LSQC East, Midwest and Canada Chapter.
Our very first get together party will held at fiesta Grill in Jersey City,NJ on
September 24, 6:00 - 11:30 PM. Our goal and objective is help our fellow Lourdesians
and our beloved school and to be recognize by our Alumi. I will continue to work
with fellow lourdesians, teachers and faculty members who resides in the East Coast
and Canada....Anyone who are aware of any Lourdesians in NJ/NY/CT and in Canada,

Hello my fellow alumni...I am proud to be a graduate of Lourdes
School....she gave me the academic and moral foundations to carry me through an
almost succesful military career......i was the smallest in my class on graduation
day but this did not deter me from entering the PMA and subsequently having an
honorable military life seving my country.....

this is awesome, truly great in a sense that people of long ago, those who

in touch..am based in NY for the past 10 years..sad to say I haven't been back to
Manila since 2001..till last July-August, 2010. i treasure my days in LSQC, the
students and teachers, wonderful people who gave meaning to my life.we are many here

Wow this is amazing!!! Looking at the pics brings back lots of memories.
All good. I attended LSQC from '65 thru '72, (5th grade). I know its a fairly
short time, but I remember a lot from it. I was in from Cub Scouts then the Boy
Scouts. Also had my First Holy Communion from there. Anyway what a great school.

HELLO GUYS..PAX ET BONUM..IM FROM BATCH 1974...started then since 1966
entered prep( gosh that was long time..) i just finish my elementary days at that
time..but yes i do remembered those years specially my scouting days what an
experience..our place is just near the school,mayon st. and at those years mahimik
pa noon but our batch was realy addict in playing basketball even time ng
pumasok..at my time wala pang coed cgro paalis na kami noon..we had grade 7 at that
time pero may accelation pa noon di kana dadaan ng grade 7 not unless you got a
grade of 85 sayang medyo nabitin lang ang grades ko noon kasi nabarkada kaya lang it
was an experience..thru my almost 8yrs in the school including my prep the SCHOOL
HAS TAUGHT ME TO BE A TRUE CATHOLIC AND TO PREPARE FOR DECISION MAKING IN LIFE..as
i transfered in letran for my H.S..LSQC as my foundation..molded me..now im here in
saudi working as a MEDICAL TECHNOLOGISTS i do thank my school LSQC and that whenever
i do go on my vacation i do past by and thank HIM for making me what i am today..to
my teachers who are still ( you know..buhay pa at sa mga wala na..SALAMAT PO NG
MARAMI)..by the way 2 of my nephews studied there one finished from start elementary
till H.S and the bro just done his elementary too..ALL I CAN SAY TO LSQC...YOUR A

Hello from South Carolina, USA.
I was there from the first grade through
my sophomore year in High School. High School classrooms were still at the top foor
of the original building when I left in '67. The present high school was just built
at the time and the primary grades were located there. Our homeroom teacher was Mr.
Paras and the principal was Fr. Benito. I enjoyed visiting the site.

Hi Lourdesians. It's great to see the sense of community and the continued
sense of spirit and belonging your website offers to past and present students. Well

For mine, I left Lourdes after 5th Grade in 1972 as my family migrated to
Australia. Its been 35 years since my last visit to the Philippines, but I plan to
spend next Christmas in the islands.
The old school is definitely part of my itinerary and it would be great to catch up with classmates from 'F' Troop.

Good to see this site is still up...Just adding and touching base....Was known as Rico M. Alvarez during my time in Lourdes back in the mid or late 80's. sadly I had long forgotten what year I had graduated but atteneded from Prep until Grade 6. All records I had had been left in the Philippines. I have since migrated and, currently residing in Sydney, Australia for the nearly 19 years. It would have be good to hear from old schoolmates during the time I was there... Keep the memories alive!!

I am looking for my classmates: Rodolfo Navarro, Glenn De La Rosa, Cornelio Madrigal, Rolando Marquez, Cirilito Oberes and Felimon Nolasco and Jose Valenzuela. Hi please allow me to share some thoughts (from a granpa!). You know what, I love my school so much. When I was young and the school was yet under the strict Spanish priests I kept staring at the depiction of Our Lady of Lourdes in the middle of the altar. Yes I don't have to tell you that I was not "into the Mass!" LItlle did I know that my subsequent work with the UN would take me to the real place in Lourdes and Nevers (for St Bernadette) in France. It was like going full circle. In 72 not too many of my batchmates went to UP. Even now I am a member of their pearl (AB78) and silver (MA83) jubilarians. Hope there will be more on-line inter action between and among batches (both here and abroad) to keep the Pax et Bonum spirit alive. Cheers. Ciao.

Yes! You read it right! Class of 1959. There is such a thing! LSQC opened its doors in 1954 and our class was the first batch of high school students the school ever had. Its nice to bring back the memories and chat with my previous teachers and fellow alumni, specially meeting the officers of LSAA who contributed a lot to my success. I'm an FAP scholar from 1996-2000 in LSQC and the association continously supported my college education by a 4-year scholarship grant. Its an opportunity for me to thank the association and wish that someday I can also contribute to LSAA's philantrophic deeds in the name of our Alma Mater. To the millenium batch, I wish we could meet and remember our high school days. Once again to LSAA, thank you and I am always ready to support the association. I am proud being LOURDESIAN...FOREVER!

I graduated Elementary Batch '70, without benefit benefit of acceleration. A classmate was DOH Sec Pinkoy Duque. Stayed at LSQC till my sophomore year and would have been with HS '74 if not for an unfortunate sickness that I've since overcome. Among my batchmates would have been former LSQCAA prexy Alden Castaneda and Brig. Gen. Chie Sabban of the Philippine Marines. As I was PEB editor in the 7th grade and am even now working in the public communications industry, I'm wondering about a regular alumni publication of some sort. But then again, cyberspace is proving quite a medium by itself.At any rate, now that I'm back among Louies (is that term still in use?), I'm hoping to effectively interact with them and participate actively in our efforts. Yes, as our anthem goes "...sons (and even daughters? How times have changed!) of Lourdes we'll ever be."

I have been out of touch for a long time. I hope to renew my ties with my batchmates in particular and with my alma mater in general. Through this first step i hope to fulfill this dream. Sound out my batchmates from 1976.

I have been out of circulation so to speak since i graduated. I hope to renew my ties with my friends and my school. It's sad to note that batch '89 hasn't been active in alumni affairs. however, the batch's class of st. francis is solid to this day, as i'm sure the other sections' groups are. i for one haven't received any post from the alumni association. let's hope there'll be more active participation in time for the 50th year celebration. i commit to gathering a group so that our glorious batch will be represented... pax et bonum!
