Q What is YahooGroups?
A It is a group email service which facilitates communication among groups of people. For our purposes, we use it to hook up with batchmates and all other alumni members. For a complete list of known LSQC YahooGroups, click here.

Q What are the house rules we have to follow?
A In order to avoid making our official groupmail a source of junk mail, the ff are not allowed:

• Humor or any type of forwarded mail
• Advertisements & Solicitations
• Personal exchanges which are better coursed either directly or thru the corresponding batch groupmail
• Political mail, racism or other politically incorrect material
• Any other types of mail that the moderators may deem inappropriate

Q Why is there a time lag between the time I posted a message and the time I actually receive the message I posted?
A Our YahooGroup is moderated so everything has to be checked by our moderators first before distributing the message to everyone. There are times when all our moderators are busy or offline (such as weekends) so just be patient when this happens.

Q How do I subscribe or unsubscribe from our YahooGroups?
A Just send a blank message to the following addresses using the email address you want to subscribe to or unsubscribe from:

LSQCAA:
   Subscribe: lsqcaa-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
   Unsubscribe: lsqcaa-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

LSQCnet:
   Subscribe: lsqcnet-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
   Unsubscribe: lsqcnet-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

Others:
   Subscribe: XXXX-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
   Unsubscribe: XXXX-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com
   * substitute XXXX with the specific groupmail, e.g., for Batch 82, use lsqc82-subscribe...

Q How do I view the previous postings on the YahooGroups?
A Go to http://groups.yahoo.com, sign in, proceed to the appropriate group, then click on "Messages". You'll need a Yahoo! ID to log in. If you don't have one, you can apply for one (it's free).

Q Once I've logged into a groupmail website, how do I shift from one YahooGroup to another without having to log out and log in again?
A Click on "My Groups" at the upper right side of the page.

Q Aside from the group mail, what other facilities are being offered by YahooGroups?
A Here are some of the added features of YahooGroups that every member can use: Chat, Files (attachments, games, mp3, etc.), Photos, Database, Contact list, Polls and Calendar. Feel free to use them.
